John Dorval

SVP, Americas Service Provider

John Dorval is Senior Vice President of Americas Service Provider – serving major companies in Web, Media, Cable, Telco, and Mobile across the United States, Canada, and Latin America.

John and his team are bringing the full power of Cisco technologies to deliver solutions for Service Providers who are navigating major industry transitions and leading the shift to a hybrid world.

With the company 25 years, he has served in senior sales leadership roles for many of Cisco’s largest accounts in North America. Throughout his tenure, he has led large and highly complex organizations through significant industry transitions and is known for his expertise in go-to-market and customer success strategies.

Prior to Cisco, John held sales roles at MCI Telecommunications and MAI Basic Four.  

John is deeply committed to development, inclusion, and representation. He has held leadership roles on several committees, including Women in Cable and Telecommunications, Covenant House, and the Boys and Girls Club of America. 

He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and marketing from Montclair State University. He lives in New Jersey with his wife, and they have two grown children.
